Using the very popular Fetching pattern from Knitty, I made about 30 pairs of wrist warmers. Soft yarn was critical to the success of this effort. I chose Debbie Bliss’s Cashmerino DK, and my cost of goods for each pair was $9 (one skein). I sold them for $35.
This photo shows some of the wrist warmers I made. Blacks and browns were very popular, but all colors sold!
As you may be able to see from the photo, I altered the pattern to make some wrist warmers with a smocking pattern or a grid of bobbles instead of the cables.
There are many wrist warmer patterns on Ravelry. Choose one that you like, and have fun!
